Complete Docks

All Whitewater Docks contain encapsulated floats. Using encapsulated foam enables Whitewater to back their dock components with a strong guarantee and ensures a worry-free product with a long service life for our customers. We believe the foundation of your dock, the floatation, is the most important part. Whitewater Docks employ two floatation methods: HDPE Floatation Frames and Encapsulated Float Cubes. Both float types provide positive floatation and are virtually unsinkable.

The upper framework and decking can be constructed from a variety of materials including pressure-treated lumber, Fir, , Western Red Cedar, Eastern White Cedar, Hemlock and Southern Yellow Pine. Other decking alternatives such as composite or plastic lumber may be available as an option on request.

Many marina facilities are moving to having a grid (galvanized steel, aluminium, or fibreglass) running down the middle of their main docks. Grids provide easy access to services (electrical, water, cable, telephone), provide a slip-proof walking channel, reduce snow accumulation and frost, and permit light to go beneath the dock in sensitive shore areas. Whitewater Docks has experience engineering & building docks with center grids.

Complete HDPE Floatation Frame Docks

Whitewater Docks has provided HDPE float frame docks to marinas, cottage owners, and industrial marine facilities on the Eastern seaboard of North America and in a number of different countries. The modular construction makes delivery a simple task whether it is across town, across the country or around the globe. HDPE float frame docks have a long service life and extreme temperature tolerance. The full life expectancy is still to be determined. HDPE pipe deployed for water and gas lines have been in use for over 50 years. An investment in an HDPE float frame dock is a long-term investment that is backed by an international company known for expertise in marine environments.

HDPE float frames are tough. They can be lifted, towed or pulled up boat ramps without damage. If your location requires winter removal or relocation - HDPE float frame docks should be your choice.

Complete Encapsulated Float Cube Docks

Float cube docks are ideal as finger docks in a marina. They can be attached to a main walkway built with HDPE float frames to provide a cost effective marina facility. Whitewater Docks builds sturdy, buoyant finger docks from 2 feet wide and up. Our heavy duty, galvanized hinges and corner hinges permit finger attachment anywhere on the main walkway. Our engineering staff calculate the correct buoyancy to achieve the freeboard you want based on your choice of decking materials. Float cube docks can be designed with a skid system to enable moving the docks onshore during the winter where ice conditions/ storm conditions are extreme.
